Mister Saturday
Awhile back, I was running late for work and trying to get Aiden ready to go. As I'm slipping on my coat I said to him "lets hit the road Jack". He gives me a funny look and says "me no Jack". I said "oh, then what is your name?" (because he still won't say his name). He thinks about it a minute and says "Saturday" (Satuwday in Aidenese). I give him a giggle and said "ok Mister Saturday, lets go". As we're walking out to the car I hear him quietly rambling to himself and then proudly says "me misser Satuwday". Still today, weeks later, if you ask him his name he will tell you Saturday. Too funny.

Kids in Public!
Ok, so I had one of those "I can't believe this is my child" moments. We were at the grocery store today, trying to hurry of course because Aiden can shop for a total of 15 minutes before he is bored out of his mind! So we are almost done and as usual Aiden is trying to find something to pass the time. All of a sudden, in a VERY loud voice, he start yelling "Oh sh**" over and over again. "Oh, sh**, Oh, sh**, Oh, sh** mommy". So, every mother has read how you shouldn't make a big deal out of bad language or then they think it even funnier to say it again, but I'm in the middle of a busy grocery store. First I just tell him to not yell in the store. Well that doesn't work and he starts saying it even louder. By now I'm starting to get those "can't you control your child" looks from the other shoppers. Finally, after what seems like 10 minutes but was really only probably one, I remember I have a sucker in my pocket. The saving grace of candy! So I quickly open it up and he is now totally over the moment. I hurry up and get to the check out and as we're walking out to the car he looks up at me with his sweet little face and quietly says again "Oh sh** mommy", but this time it dawns on me he is saying "all set" as in "all done mommy?" Oh, life with a toddler. I wouldn't change it for the world!

First Ultrasound video
First pictures of the new bundle of joy!
This is our first ultrasound...still don't know if it's a boy or girl at this point. We'll try again in a few weeks!
My first blog...ahhh!

Ok, so I'm going to give this a try. It looks like so much fun and is a great way to keep everyone posted as to what's up in our lives. All is well in the Greenwald household. Aiden is getting to be such a little man. His vocabulary is growing by the second. The other day he was telling me about sunburns...how did he learn that. It is amazing what he picks up on! Hopefully this blog will help me remember all the funny things he says and does. I can look back many years from now and say "remember when." Trent and I are doing well. I'm getting bigger by the day...17 weeks now. We can't wait to meet our little baby boo! We are (hopefully) headed to the mountains for Memorial Weekend, but as it stands now the weather isn't favoring our trip-it's raining buckets outside! Later.
